Dresser Sideboard Arts and Crafts by P E Gane of Bristol C1890

Here we have a stunning Arts and Crafts Oak dresser c1890. As you can see the dresser has super colour and patina. The top has wonderful Voysey type turrets and a shaped gallery back between. Below is a convex shaped section incorporating shelves and a central cupboard with original leaded green glass, copper handle and original lock and key. The rear supports have lathe struts with decorative peirced heart shape cut outs. The base has an overslung top created by three quarter sawn planks of exceptional colour and grain showing medullary rays throughout. Beneath there are two drawers with original and well patinated copper handles and Mahogany linings. One drawer bears the label for the cabinet makers P E Gane of Bristol renowned for making high quality Arts and Crafts furniture of great design. The base continues to excite with a wonderful flared shape and single door with almost Cotswold school panels and again original copper handle. A beautiful purist peice of Arts and Crafts furniture in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 81 inches high 21 deep and 60 wide.
