Description

Georgian Antique Oak Military Chest of Drawers.

A lovely quality, English made antique military chest in oak and ash woods, which are a pale natural colour.

Dating from around 1790, this antique chest has two drawers over three which graduate in size.

The chest is fitted with flush fit military handles, brass bound corners and key holes.

It splits into two at the waist with carrying handles to each side.

All the drawers feature scratch moulding around the edge and all run freely.

The original backboards have a hand written notice, Wanted, Mr.Rees . No 7. Southampton.

In very good condition, the drawers are clean inside.

Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
