Description

An astonishing example of English cabinetmaking; a multi-drawer chest of drawers in mahogany with a most unusual layout of mahogany-lined graduated cockbeaded drawers, having solid turned mahogany knob handles, flanked by architectural recessed panels. It has a square-edge and straight-moulded edge rectangular top and a simple plinth base. This beautiful, craftsman-built chest of drawers – dating from c.1860s – has well-figured timbers of the highest quality and with a rich warm colour.
