Description

For sale is this quite rare WW2 Timor Waterproof 17 jewel pilots or navigators watch, circa 1943. There has been discussion on this actual watch and although not signed with any issue markings or designations, it has been acknowledged that Timors of this type and with this rare 1/5th seconds dial format were issued, without designation by USA equipment stores, to American pilots and navigators flying B42 bombers in the Pacific during WW2. The watch on offer is completely original and in fine working order and is fitted with what appears to be its original leather strap.
