Small Potboard Welsh Dresser Base C.1810.

Description

Delightful little early 19th.c. Welsh oak potboard dresser base from South Wales c.1810. Useful small size, just 5' long with a three plank oak top over an unusual drawer configuration of three full size drawers over two small ‘knife’ drawers each with a cockbeaded edge and brass ring handles . With a double arch apron raised on particularly good turned front legs. Original potboard shelf at the base fitted with a shaped moulding to stand plates against. Excellent condition, cleaned restored and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 60", depth 17", height 34".
