A Small Regency Chest

Description

A small Regency chest of three graduated drawers with shaped frieze and bracket feet.

83.5 cm wide by 50 deep and 79.5 high.

Good mahogany top with no cracks banded in rosewood and boxwood strung. Mahogany sides. The graduated drawers are fronted with satinwood with boxwood cross banding and edged with boxwood stringing. Original brass locks. Brass escutcheons. Small turned knob handles.

Overall an attractive and useful chest equally at home in a bedroom or reception room.
