E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The central arched mirrored panelled door having plaque above and maple panelled frame with brass beaded outline all within line inlaid frame with ormolu corner mounts. The glazed serpentine end doors with conforming stringing and mounts with brass beading framing the glazing. The doors all flanked with a brass bead moulding. The velvet lined interiors each having 2 shelves with line inlaid fronts, single shelf to behind central door. The plinth base conforming with the frieze having cast ormolu moulded top. All on small turned bun feet.
55 1/2" wide 14 1/2" deep 42" high.
