This dresser has originated from the North West of England in the UK. The top of this dresser is constructed from two solid oak plank tops and is finished with moulded edging. The dresser base consists of three working cock-beaded drawers, which feature brass swan neck open fretwork handles. The moulded edge design is repeated on the frieze. The dresser frame is constructed using the traditional pegged construction method. The drawers have been constructed in the primitive method using butt joint construction; the drawers are pine lined. The dresser features the original backboards. The whole of the dresser sits on turned front legs terminating in bobbin feet, with a later connecting stretcher.

The dresser features rich red and brown colours. As its boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
