Gillows Victorian serpentine front inlaid mahogany sideboard. This is a lovely rare piece....almost understated style that exudes quality, charm and grace. Stamped 'Gillows of Lancaster' on the drawer edge (suggesting pre-1903, when they became Waring and Gillow). Solid, heavy with no loose joints. The mahogany lined drawer and doors all work as they should. No woodworm.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations. No keys and the locks are untested. Missing a little inlay along the leading edge at the sides of the top....this has been filled and finished, so not very noticeable.

Overall maximum dimensions: 147cm wide, 46cm deep, 89cm high.
