Large Flamed Mahogany Victorian Antique Chest Of Drawers

This Victorian Large / Tall Flamed Mahogany Antique Chest dates from around 1870 and has a rectangular moulded top above a beautifully figured frieze with charming rosewood banding. This large chest has ample storage and has two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with brass key escutcheons and original turned handles. This superb piece stands on bracket feet with a shaped apron. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
