Superb Quality Regency Antique Figured Mahogany Chest Of Drawers

This Superb Quality Regency Antique Figured Mahogany Chest Of Drawers circa, 1830 has a beautifully figured rectangular top with moulded edge, above a deep cross banded top drawer with moulded edges above three graduating cock beaded drawers. All of the drawers have the original fine turned rosewood handles. These wonderful drawers stand on beautifully turned bun feet and benefit from the original backboards. The mahogany has aged to a warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
