A magnificent Victorian chest of drawers in mahogany. The nine bead-edged graduated drawers are lined in solid mahogany, and retain their original finely turned solid mahogany knob handles. There is a moulded edge overhanging top and a simple plinth base support. This rare model has a huge storage capacity having nine drawers but occupies a relatively small footprint. It has its original finish with a rich, warm colour and a glowing patination. There is a working key to the third drawer down from the top.
