Kingwood & Mahogany Six Drawer Chest of Drawers

An early 20th century Kingwood & mahogany six drawer chest of drawers of serpentine shape with a marble top.

The top is of grey/white marble of serpentine shape and is in good condition.

This leads down to a frieze of Kingwood veneers with Rococo design ormolu mounts.

Underneath this are two Rococo design ormolu mounts to the top and six drawers, each with two ormolu handles and an escutcheon. The drawers are all pine lined with an ormolu border.

The side panels have good quarter veneers of Kingwood with cross banding.

At the base there is shaped frieze with a Rococo shaped mount to the centre, the legs are slightly splayed terminating with ormolu mounts to the toes.

This piece is in good condition and can go straight into a home.
