The highly figured top, with its overhanging moulded edge, sits above an arrangement of two short over three long graduated solid mahogany-lined drawers. There is a plain plinth support and a two-panel backing board. All of the eight turned mahogany knob handles are original, and there is a working key to the top full-width drawer.
