Description

An extremely high quality chest of drawers attributed to the well respected cabinetmaker/retailer Heal & Son of London. The highly figured top, with its overhanging moulded edge, sits above an arrangement of two short over three long graduated solid mahogany-lined drawers. There is a plain plinth support and a two-panel backing board. All of the eight turned mahogany knob handles are original, and there is a working key to the top full-width drawer. This beautiful chest of drawers – presented in truly superb condition – is English, c.1875.
