The top of the dresser features a rich golden oak two-plank top, which has been cross-banded in mahogany. Likewise, the front of the dresser features cross-banded mahogany drawers. The drawers are solid oak lined and hand dovetailed; they all have working locks and a key. The drawers feature open fretwork brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. To the centre of the dresser base, is an original square fielded and mahogany cross-banded cupboard door. Inside the cupboard is a removable shelf in case you need to store larger items. The dresser has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and the years of care and cleaning they have received.

Condition Report:

This dresser is in excellent working condition. All of the drawers and the cupboard door are in good working order and they all feature working locks and a key. The oak sides, top, backboards, feet and drawer linings are all original. The brass escutcheons and swan neck handles are old replacements. The dresser features a lovely polish and patinaion. Nominal old use marks to the top and leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
