Georgian Oak Pot Board Dresser Base C.1800.

Description

Early 19th.c. oak South Wales dresser base c.1800. Simple uncluttered design with a single plank top over three drawers on elegant turned columns and a potboard plinth, the end columns continuing as square staves to the floor. With oak sides and a pine five panel back. Original mouldings and original potboard, again made of a single oak plank. The drawer knobs are period replacements. Excellent colour and condition, with repairs to the top, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Dimensions: width 69", depth 17", height 32½".
