Elegant Georgian Mahogany Small Chest of Drawers

18th century
Description

Here is a superb George III mahogany bachelors chest-of-drawers of lovely small proportions.

c1760.

Lovely rich, warm colour to the highly figured mahogany.

Beautifully elegant design, having four long graduating cock-beaded drawers, having the original chippendale/rococo style handles and escutcheons.

Oak lined drawers. All locks present.

Standing on bracket feet.

A very pretty and useful item, from a very elegant era.

Bees-waxed and polished.

The condition is very good, having signs of use consistent with age. The top has a historical shrinkage mark, which has been expertly historically filled/restored.

The dimensions are.

Height-84.5cm.

Width-80.5cm.

Depth-47.5cm.
