Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.

Drawing on traditional furniture design it features two drawers flanked with cupboards on each side but of sleek, rounded and curvacious form with a very unusual dished top. Other than the Georgian pattern handles, Adams eschews applied decoration carving and moldings here in favour of highly figured and polished mahogany veneers. Simiarly the shaped apron and legs are a simplified and streamlined version of the Georgian originals. Presented in very good original and unrestored condition. With original Maurice Adams Ltd stamp to the rear, also a handwritten label inscribed ‘MA Ltd Own Stock’ and the serial number 533c. Key supplied.
Dimensions: width 60", depth 20", height 37½".
