Walnut Chest On Stand

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: James Reeve (Quinneys of Warwick)

A wonderful looking piece that is not too large. This lovely very early 18th century walnut piece has cross banded and herringbone strung drawers. The chest stands on cabriole legs. The sides are also cross banded. This piece really needs to be seen.

On very close internal inspection the bottom was very well made at a later date - in the 19th century. Externally there are no indications at all. It is a perfect match to the Queen Ann top in every way, as evident in the photos.
