Superb Country Small Oak Antique Dresser Base

This Superb Country Small Oak Antique Dresser Base dates from circa, 1740, It has a beautifully figured moulded top above two oak lined drawers with exquisite geometric moulded fronts with brass handles with key with one working lock. It is of pegged construction and stands on beautifully turned front legs, made from the finest figured oak. This marvellous antique is of unusual small proportions making it fit ideally anywhere in the room. It is a truly magnificent country piece full of charm and character, old repairs, expected of a true antique. The oak has aged to a lovely warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
