Description

A most attractive little Victorian chest of drawers in mahogany. This small chest – measuring under 36” wide (910mm) – is comprised of two short over two long graduated cockbeaded drawers lined in solid mahogany and all with their original turned knob handles. It sits on a plain plinth base support and there is a moulded-edge overhanging top. It has an abundance of charm and character with its original untouched surface providing a most appealing colour and patination. There is a working key to the top full-width drawer. English, c.1870s.
