Magnificent Victorian Figured Mahogany Antique Sideboard

This is a superb example of a Victorian mahogany antique sideboard dates from around 1870. It has a shaped removable back, with fine scrolled decorative carvings above a serpentine shaped moulded top. This amazing piece has 3 beautifully figured oak lined drawers sitting above 4 beautifully figured cupboard doors with shaped central panels and quality hand carved corbels. This fine piece stands on a plain plinth and the central interior has one removable shelf. The right hand interior has a removable shelf and a sliding cellaret drawer. The left hand interior benefits from 2 oak lined sliding linen trays. The cupboard doors are slightly curved and the mahogany has aged to a lovely warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
