Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1930s.
This is a well designed, English oak sideboard made by Heals of London in the early thirties.
The Heals ivorine makers label can be found inset into a drawer.
The sideboard stands on square legs which have chamfered edges, the doors and drawers have a raised panel and all the original oak turned knob handles being present.
In excellent, clean and original condition, the oak timber used is well grained and a lovely even colour.
Now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms, along with other antique and 20th century Heals furniture.
