Large Victorian Scottish Antique Chest of Drawers

Dating from around 1870 in the Victorian period this antique Scottish chest of drawers has relatively large proportions. It has an inverted break fronted top above two shaped frieze drawers. Below these are a further three graduating drawers, all with the original turned handles and M.O.P. as a centre piece. The drawers are flanked by beautifully turned columns and the piece as a whole stands on a shaped plinth with turned bun feet. It still retains its original back boards and has a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
