Quality Walnut Antique Wellington Chest of Drawers

This delightful antique Wellington chest of drawers dates from around 1870 in the Victorian period and is constructed from quality walnut timbers. It has a beautifully figured top that sits above the prerequisite seven drawers for seven days! All the drawers have turned handles and are secured in place by a locking arm with working lock and key. Beautifully carved corbels frame the piece which stands on a plain plinth. It still retains the original back boards and has aged to a warm medium shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
