A Good George II Chest-of-drawers

Description

A good quality mid-18th century GEORGE II PERIOD Cuban mahogany CHEST-OF-DRAWERS in fine original condition.

Below the solid one-piece well-figured top is the baize-lined brushing slide, whilst further below are two small and three long graduated drawers. All these drawers are lined in oak, and all handles, locks and escutcheons are original, as indeed are the solid mahogany bracket feet.

Particularly good warm colour and original patina. Dimensions: 31.5ins wide; 20ins deep. (80cms x 51cms) c.1745
