Large Antique Bow Fronted Mahogany Victorian Chest of Drawers

This antique Victorian, circa 1840, bow fronted chest of drawers is made from mahogany with large proportions providing a substantial amount of storage. It has a bow fronted top sitting on a two over four graduating drawer configuration. All are partially oak lined and have the original blue lining, the fronts have cock beading and display the original turned handles. The drawers are flanked by unusual moulded sides and the piece stands on beautiful turned bun feet. The mahogany is a rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
