Exhibition Quality Ash Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

Circa 1890, exhibition quality ash chest of drawers, the top is quarter sawn and has a lovely rippled effect and a moulded edge. Beneath this are 2 short and 3 further graduating drawers with cast brass swan neck handles held in place by very stylish pummels. The chest has canted corners and mouldings beneath the bottom drawer. All standing on an enclosed plinth. Great colour and excellent condition. Wardrobe to match available.

Size 105cm high x 106cm wide x 55cm deep.
