Solid Oak Marble Top Chest

Description

A very solid oak chest/washtand . It has a white marble top and an arrangement of two short and three long drawers which are dovetail jointed , each has carved panels and turned handles. The sides are paneled and it has turned feet.(France, c. 1890)

90.00cm high 120.00cm wide 50.00cm deep (35.43 inches high 47.24 inches wide 19.69 inches deep )

Current Condition

The cabinet is in good original condition, the white marble top orininally had a rear up-stand, and the holes have been filled in the marble.

Declaration

Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
