Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It has a beautifully figured bow fronted top with a moulded edge above a two over four graduating drawer configuration. All have the original turned handles and have cock beading. The piece stands on turned bun feet and the mahogany is a rich warm medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
