Victorian Ebonised Pine Wellington Chest.

Description

Unusual 19th.c. ebonised pine bank of drawers or ‘Wellington chest’ c.1880. With 12 drawers of graduated depth all retaining their original Gothic style brass handles. Ideal as a collector’s cabinet or even for filing and stationery, the 12? by 19? drawers will comfortably accommodate A4 folders. The drawers are all held closed with the hinged and lockable right hand palister. Cleaned and polished in our workshops, some wear to the finish typical of age but perfectly functional. Key supplied.

Dimensions: width 27", depth 17", height 47½".
