Tall Rosewood Chest of Drawers

Description

Stunning quality 19th century tall rosewood chest of drawers ( semainier , a drawer for each day of the week )

French and dating to around the 1870's veneered with quartered rosewood veneers on an oak carcus

the fluted columns are solid rosewood

An unusual feature of this piece is that it has a secretaire drawer which lined with satinwood veneers , there is a makers stamp ( see one of the photo's ) which is under the felt writing surface

We go to every effort to present our items in top showroom condition and we have had a key cut for each drawer , the whole piece has been cleaned / polished all the drawers run smoothly

Having its original rouge marble to the top
