French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The bed is upholstered in a rich velvet flocked fabric. The upholstery is in good condition.
Both headboard and footboard are nicely shaped, footboard end panels in bombay style.
Standing on carved cabriole legs this is a very attractive bed.
The bed has now been fitted with a new base and is ready for a standard size double mattress.
