Here we have a beautiful fine quality Victorian Rosewood Credenza c1870. As you can see this breathtaking Credenza has stunning color and patina. The top has super grain and a thumb moulded ebonised edge. Below there is a stunning inlaid freize of Box, Hare and Satinwood. At this point there are also high quality gilded Ormolu mounts and beading. The curved glass doors have strung decoration as does the central door which also has fine Ormolu beading surrounding a beautiful inlaid centered cartouche. There is typical high quality inlay to the sides of the central door with Ormolu mounts at the base. The wonderful stepped moulded plinth base leads to the original and well turned feet. The interior has all the original velvet linings and all the doors have working locks and a key. A beautiful period Credenza in fine retail condition. This stunning Credenza is a wonderful rare compact size at approx 47 inches wide 42 high and 14 deep.
