ANTIQUE #SA264516

Early Oak Chest Of Drawers

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: James Reeve (Quinneys of Warwick)

This early chest of drawers dates from the late 17th / early 18th century. The drawers are made of thick oak linings with side runners. It has panelled ends and the whole has a lovely old patina. It is not too big at 40'' wide and 37'' high.

The feet and mouldings look to have been replaced in the 19th century but otherwise it is completely original. The solid brass handles are later replacements but absolutely the right style for the period.

This is a very handsome piece
