Here we have a beautiful compact George III Mahogany bow front chest of drawers c1800. As you can see the chest has super colour and patina. There is wonderful grain to the top and a reeded edge leading to a desirable configuration of two over two drawers. The drawers as you would expect have hand cut dovetail joints and the added bonus of cockbeaded edges. The handles are period brass back plates with drop handles. The drawers fronts are wonderful figured Mahogany giving this chest decorative appeal. The chest sits on wonderful shaped bracket feet with a lovely thumb moulding between. The chest has great dimension being only 35 inches wide 33 high and 19 deep. A super period chest in excellent retail condition ready for your home.
