Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Original Solid Brass Handles Circa 1810

Description

This chest of drawers has all its original handles and locks and came from a house on The Chatsworth estate. It is in beautiful flame mahogany and all the drawers have satinwood banding to the edge. It was made originally in two sections for ease of transport. The two small drawers at the top have an ingenious of locking from inside negating the use of a key. It has its original backboards and a lovely mellow patina . There are signs of wear and tear commensurate with an object over 200 years old. It is generally in excellent condition
