Having two single shelved cupboards to each side, each door has a beautiful centre panel of figured mahogany, framed with cross-banding. To the centre are two cock-beaded drawers.
The top has elegant ebony and boxwood stringing inlay, again framed with cross-banding.
The Mahogany has a lovely warmth and richness.
Standing on square tapering, spade footed supports.
With beautiful ornate high quality brass ring handles. All drawer and cupboard brass escutcheons, and locks are present, with a single key which fits all.
The condition is very good, with general expected signs of age and use, but overall really very minor for the age of this charming sideboard. Some minor nibbles to the veneers, minor small loss to the cock-beading, can be seen in pictures, but really very minor.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
Freshly bees-waxed and polished.
