E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The end panelled doors having maple banded frames with brass bead edges the panels having maple banded edges with double stringing. Each door having central Jasperware plaque within brass frames having Ribbon and foliate decoration. The flanking square pillars having reeded decoration with brass Corinthian capitals with inlaid oblong bases having brass beaded tops. The ends having stinging and bandings. The shaped plinth having inlays and banded edge all on squat bun feet. 69" wide 16" deep 39 1/2" high.
