Description

English Made Antique Military Campaign Chest

This is a high quality, English made true military antique chest of drawers in teak with camphor wood linings, each drawer has a scratch moulded decoration around the edge.

In very good, original and complete condition, it splits in half for ease of transportation, the bun feet screw of well as intended.

Dating from around 1875, this antique teak campaign chest of drawers has all the period brass, flush fot handles and corners with remnants of the original gilt finish.

The finish to the teak timber is original, the top has a cuople of ring marks, but other than this, the whole finish is in very good order.
