A William and Mary Walnut Chest of Drawers C 1690

Description

A beautifully figured solid walnut William and Mary chest of drawers in two parts c 1690 in a warm honey colour with four graduated drawers sliding on side runners.The fronts have block mouldings in geometric designs typical of the last decade of the 17th century

The chest has later bracket feet and brass handles probably fitted in the 1740`s. We are awaiting the missing escutcheons and top left handle which are being re cast at present.

Size 38 ins wide 24 ins deep 38 ins high.

We have our own van and can offer well priced deliveries to all parts of the UK including weekly deliveries to London and the Home Counties.
