George III Mahogany Antique Chest of Drawers with Beautiful Shell Inlay.

Dating from around 1790 this George III antique chest of drawers is made from mahogany with beautiful shell inlay decoration on a deep frieze which sits below the moulded top. It has a two over three drawer configuration all of which are oak lined, have cock beading and brass swan neck handles. The piece stands on later shaped bracket feet and is a rich medium dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
