Fantastic Porcelain Painted Plaque of Lord Nelson

Description

We are delighted to offer for sale this most superb German porcelain plaque, the blank we believe was supplied by Hutchenreuther , it has Hr in a circle stamped to the rear plus a number 3 in another circle, although we cannot quite make out the artists signature he or she was clearly a very competent artist , the facial area of Lord Nelson in particular is painted quite superbly.

set into its original gilded frame the panel is oval and convex and all in great comndition , a real must have for all maritime or plaque collectors .
