Superb Quality Regency Mahogany Antique Chest of Drawers.

Dating from around 1820 in the Regency period this is a superb quality chest of drawers constructed from mahogany with beautiful graining. It has a rectangular top with half round moulded edge above a two over three graduating drawer configuration. All the drawers have cock beading, original decorative brass handles and come complete with a key and some working locks. The chest has a reeded lower edge, stands on splayed bracket feet and still owns its original back boards. It has aged to a warm medium shade of mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
