Victorian camphorwood secretaire military chest

This Victorian military chest is made of Camphorwood that gives out a lovely scent and was good at keeping the tropical insects at bay when the officers were on campaign.

The chest is fitted a fold down secretaire that opens again to reveal pigeon holes and a cupboard.

We have only waxed this item as it has all the character of a campaign piece and so looks great with any small damage it has had in its lifetime.
