It has a beautifully figured rectangular top with rounded corners that sits above a two over two drawer configuration. The drawers have the original Victorian glass handles and unusual half round moulded drawer front dividers. It stands on a plain plinth and beautifully turned bun feet. This antique chest has a aged to a lovely rich medium shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
