Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The dresser is crisply carved; there are lion’s masks on the doors, with more faces as the drawer handles and more carving around the edge of the top and along the sides of the cupboards and the old oak has a wonderful patination. The Gallery on the back of the Sideboard has carved columns and Faces of hunters ( each one is different )
The condition if the cupboard is good, the carvings are sound and show no signs of damage, but there is a little wear to finish on the bottom of the dog kennel
The Sideboard is 63” high to the top, 0r 40“ high to the sideboard top, it is 73” wide and 24” deep
