Maple & Co Large Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

Circa 1890, large mahogany inlaid bow fronted chest of drawers with a makers label in the top right hand drawer for Maple & Co, London, Paris and Buenos Aeries. The chest has a mahogany top which is crossbanded with ebony, boxwood and kingwood. The drawers are 2 short over 3 further larger drawers with cast brass woven and pierced handles and flamed mahogany inlays which is matching throughout. The whole piece stands on an enclosed plinth. Exhibition quality.

Size 122cm high x 123cm wide x 61cm deep.
