Description

Here we have a superb George III Mahogany chest of drawers c1800. As you can see the chest not only has great colour and patina but fantastic figuring in the drawer fronts. This large chest has great storage capacity. The sides of this chest are solid Mahogany so a chest of great quality. The top has lovely colour and grain. Beneath there is a cross banded Mahogany frieze and a configuration of two over three drawers each adourned with beautiful turned handles inlaid with mother of pearl.The drawers also retain there original escutcheons. The chest is finished with a shaped frieze between wonderfully turned feet. A super period chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 50 inches wide 22 deep and 49 high.
